Brenda Jayne Aguirre, 77, our beloved sister, aunt, and friend passed away on the morning of Thursday, September 25, 2025. She was born in Ogden, Utah, on February 17, 1948, the daughter of Theodore and Rachel Beyeler Aguirre. She left Ogden and went to Houston, Texas and Denver, Colorado before settling back in her beloved Ogden, Utah.
She was devoted to her job as an Office Administrator at the Utah School for the Deaf and Blind and cherished her time spent working with the students.
Brenda had the biggest heart and was adored by everyone, especially her nieces and nephews who loved to play practical jokes on her. She was a good sport and even was able to turn the table and get them back a few times. Brenda was one of a kind and was always there for her family and friends if they were ever in need.
She took pleasure in working with her hands whether it was crocheting, quilting or doing needlepoint. You would often find her camping and fishing or traveling with her friend Marsha. She was fiercely devoted to the Utah Jazz and was passionate about cheering them on. Her other pastimes included U of U Basketball and watching her great-great-nephews play baseball, but we think her greatest joy was rescuing dogs that she seemed to love more than people.
Brenda is survived by her two nephews, three nieces, three great-nephews, six great-nieces, five great-great-nephews, and two great-great-nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Donna Rae Beech.
