Breken Isaac Bingham, beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend, passed away tragically in a motorcycle accident on May 31, 2025.
Breken was born on May 2, 2006, in Ogden Utah, to Jeremy Paul Bingham and Alisha Rives Bingham. He was the second of three children. A 2024 graduate of Roy High School, Breken was continuing his education at OWATC, pursuing a career as a controls technician. He was also employed at Cinemark Theatres.
A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Stone Creek Ward, Breken served faithfully in various callings, including secretary and second counselor in the Young Men's organization. Of all his church experiences, he especially cherished his time in the scouting program. He was also a graduate of the seminary program.
Breken had a passion for adventure and a deep love for the outdoors. He found joy and peace in nature, whether it was riding his motorcycle on long, winding routes just for the thrill of the ride, mountain biking rugged trails, hiking for hours, or scaling rock races. Camping with family and friends brought him genuine happiness.
He also had a sharp and curious mind. A dedicated PC gamer and airsoft enthusiast, Breken balanced his adventurous side with a love for music and learning. A gifted violinist for over seven years, he expanded his talents to the guitar and piano, applying his musical instincts with ease. He had a remarkable knack for languages--fluent in Spanish and steadily working on Chinese, Russian, and Italian. He even mastered the Rubik's Cube and ha deep enjoyment of anime and manga.
Breken loved getting his hands dirty. He took great pride in maintaining his mountain bike, car, and motorcycle, always meticulous and hands-on. He often spent time in the garage with his dad, working together on family vehicles. Whether through music, mechanics, or the mountains, Breken lived with intensity, curiosity, and heart.
He is survived by his parents, Jeremy Paul Bingham and Alisha Rives Bingham (West Haven UT); his brother, Kaeden J. Bingham (Logan UT - Utah State University); and his sister, Maelyn Kate Bingham (West Haven UT); He is also survived by his grandparents, Dennis and Linda Bingham (Roy UT), and Paul Rives (Syracuse UT). He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Kathryn Rives.
