Brandy Nielson Higgins

September 19, 1974 — December 10, 2023

In loving memory of Brandy, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, who departed from our lives on December 10, 2023. Brandy's vibrant spirit touched the hearts of many, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know her.

Born to Bruce and Bobette Nielson, Brandy is survived by her devoted sister, Tonya (Bret) Mumford, her two beloved children, Jaden (Amber) Higgins and Seattle Hope Higgins, and the joy of her final year, granddaughter Alice Julie Higgins.

Brandy's happiness found its truest expression in the embrace of family and the joy of serving others. A beacon of loyalty, she forged fast and enduring friendships wherever life took her. If you crossed paths with Brandy, you were sure to gain a friend for life. Her passion was palpable, defending fiercely the ones she loved and the convictions she held dear.

One of the many facets of Brandy's remarkable character was her nurturing spirit, especially evident in her devoted care for her daughter, Seattle.

To know Brandy was to experience a whirlwind of fun and laughter. Her infectious laughter had the power to brighten the darkest days, leaving an everlasting imprint on the hearts of those around her. We hope she always knew the depth of the love she inspired and the void her absence leaves.

A "Life Tribute" in memory of Brandy will be held at a future date, allowing friends and family to come together in celebration of her remarkable life, taking into consideration the holiday season and the timing of her passing.

During this difficult time, we extend our heartfelt condolences to all who are mourning the loss of Brandy. May her memory be a source of solace, and may the love she shared, continue to resonate in the hearts of those who were touched by her presence.

Memorial services will be held Saturday January 6, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 N. Main Street, Kaysville, Utah.

Friends may visit with family Saturday from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the mortuary.
