Brady Blaine Meenderink

July 5, 1976 — December 24, 2022

Hooper

Brady Blaine Meenderink, 46, of Hooper, Utah passed away Saturday, December 24, 2022 due to complications related to diabetes.

Brady was born July 5, 1976 in Ogden, Utah, a son of Mike Meenderink and Kathy Parker. Growing up in Hooper, Brady enjoyed spending his time outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping and causing mischief with his brothers, friends and his late Grandpa Art.

His sister fondly remembers a healthy mix of brotherly torment and playfulness. Brady was always happy to hear from me, hang out and made me feel important and loved.

His dad taught him how to golf and he fell in love with the sport. It would be something he enjoyed playing throughout his life.

Brady worked at various jobs mainly in the construction field. He became a jack-of-all-trades. It would be through one of these jobs that he would meet his wife, Lindsey Whitman. Brady and Lindsey were married in April of 2004. Together they had two beautiful children, first a daughter, Emma “Turtle” in 2004 a boy, Bobby in 2007.  Brady was a natural with kids and his children were no exception. They loved their dad and the love Brady had for them was immeasurable.

He was the best dad with the most random, funny gifts. He had the best sense of humor, kind of dark at times, but he always knew how to make his kids laugh, and they knew how much he loved them.

Brady was compassionate for others. He was a good friend to everyone. If you knew Brady you knew you were loved and cared about.

His passing finds us heartbroken, but during our sorrow we receive comfort in knowing he is free from earthly pains and struggles and was welcomed with loving arms from loved ones who have gone before him.

Brady is survived by his father, Mike (Jodeen) Meenderink, Hooper; mother, Kathy Parker, Hooper; his children, Emma and Bobby Meenderink, Riverdale; siblings, Casey (Ashley) Meenderink, Hooper; Parker Meenderink, Hooper; Don (Kasi) Perkins, South Jordan; Haley (Chris) Verburg, Hooper; grandpa Blaine Parker, Logan; Lindsey Meenderink, Riverdale; and many aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces whom he loved and adored. He was preceded in death by grandmas, Gladys Parker and Nelda Meenderink, Grandpa Art Meenderink, brother, Riley Meenderink, great-niece Andi Jay Stucki and nephew, Dillon Meenderink.
