Brady S. Clinger reunited with his Savior October 9th, 2025 after a tragic fall from his roof. Brady passed away peacefully at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah. Brady was born August 27, 1953 in Afton, Wyoming to Darwin Kenneth Clinger and Arlean Schwab.
Brady served in the U.S. Navy as a Machinist. He served on the USS Dixie out of San Diego, California. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Combat Action Ribbon and the Good Conduct Award. After honorably serving his country, Brady went to Utah State University to complete his Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, graduating in June of 1979. He worked at HP, Iomega and as a government contractor serving Hill AFB.
Brady met a beautiful woman, named Gayle, with two adorable children [Shane and Tana - who were later adopted and sealed to Gayle and Brady]. Brady and Gayle Lee Lilly were sealed in the Los Angeles Temple February 22, 1975. Brady and Gayle had 3 beautiful boys: Benjamin, Jesse and Jason.
Brady was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a true Disciple of Jesus Christ. He was passionate about the Cause of Freedom and teaching others about Christ and His restored Gospel.
Brady's family who proceeded him in death were his parents, Darwin and Arlean, brothers Martin, Melvin and David, and his niece Relina Clinger.
Surviving family is daughter Tana Allen [and her son Trevor], son Shane [and his children Shae, AbbyLynn, and Faith], son Benjamin [Zeika and their children Kimberly and Eran], son Jesse [and his children Lily, Issabelle and Isaac], and son Jason along with brother Kenneth Clinger and sisters Darlean Packer, Diane Ririe and Sarah Clinger.
Viewing will be Wednesday, October 15th from 6-8pm at the Lindquist Mortuary, 3333 W. 5600 S. in Roy, Utah.
Funeral service will be Thursday, October 16th from about 11am - 11:30am. [We need to keep it short so that Brady's wife, Gayle, can attend]. Viewing will be beforehand from 9:30-10:30am.
Place of Service: Rocky Mountain Ward Building at 4555 W. 4000 S. in West Haven, Utah.
The interment will be Friday, October 17th at 1pm at the Etna Cemetery in Wyoming.
