Bradley (Brad) Forrest Nash

1962 ~ 2021

Bradley (Brad) Forrest Nash, 59,  the most kind hearted, loving, humble man who loved his family and wife with all his heart passed suddenly of a heart attack and returned to his Heavenly Father and the loved ones awaiting him on October 14, 2021.  He was born on September 22, 1962, to Blaine Elynn and Sandra Morrill Nash in Ogden, Utah.  He was the fourth of six children.

He was reared and educated in Layton, Utah, graduating from Layton High School in 1980, where he was a member of the Laytones Singing Group.  He attended Weber State University.  Brad met and married his eternal companion  “his Sweets” Debbie O’Neil, they were married on June 5, 1987, in the Salt Lake Temple.  He introduced himself to Debbie as Fred Zeffel, Brain Surgeon and his love of cats convinced her to spend her life and eternity with him.  They went on to spend 34+ years together and raised a family, a daughter, Brinley, (Blake), sons; Brayten and Ridge, all of Layton; three grandchildren; Canyon, Sara, and Zae’Lyn.

Brad was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He had an unwavering faithfulness in our Savior Jesus Christ and his gospel never questioning its truths. He was called to serve a mission in Geneva, Switzerland serving the better part of his mission in France.  He served many callings in Young Men’s, Sunday School, and Primary.

He enjoyed visiting Ghost Towns, metal detecting, doing Genealogy, golfing and going to concerts with his wife Debbie.  He enjoyed watching videos of car restoration on YouTube and Netflix. He had a special connection with the family ranch just outside Capital Reef National Park and loved to visit.   He liked all sports especially Utah Jazz Basketball and was an avid BYU Fan and enjoyed watching the games with his dad in his earlier years and later with his sons and grandson.

Brad loved spending time with his family, it did not matter where they went on their journey’s, it was just being together and enjoying fun adventures that was the most important to him.  He enjoyed one last trip to the Dakota’s, Iowa, and Minnesota before his passing.

He loved his grandchildren and had the opportunity to tend them twice a week.  He was the very best at rocking and getting the grandbabies to sleep in his loving arms.

Brad was preceded in death by his mother Sandra Morrill Nash and his father Blaine Nash, He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and his siblings; Michael, Nola (Dan), Deanna, Andrew (Michelle), and Natalie (Eric).

Brad will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Until we meet again my Bradley Bunz  aka  Fred Zeffel, Brain Surgeon – Debbie

We love and will miss you forever – your kids and grandkids.
