Bradley James Edelman

Bradley James Edelman, father, grandpa, uncle, brother, and friend passed away on May 18, 2025. He was born on November 8, 1953, in Salt Lake City, UT to Robert Fred and Verla Freeman Edelman.

Brad was a man of quiet strength, thoughtful presence, and enduring love for his family. He graduated from Viewmont High School and went on to attend Weber State College, building a life marked by humor and heartfelt connection.

He married Mary Speirs in 1975 and later found lasting companionship with Joanie Critchlow, whom he married on September 16, 2000. Brad was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joanie; his mother, Verla; and his father, Robert; and his brother, Doug;.

A true car fanatic, Brads passion for all things automotive was unmatched. He was a loyal sports enthusiast, proudly cheering on the Chicago Bears and the San Francisco Giants. He loved golfing with family whenever his health allowed and found great peace in the outdoors- boating on Bear Lake and Flaming Gorge or camping beneath the majestic peaks of the Grand Tetons.

Brad is survived by his daughter, Nicole (Jesus); sons, Dustin (Keli) and Tyler; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren all of whom will miss their beloved “Grampy-yoho” very much. He also leaves behind four brothers, Robert, Rocky (Coleen), Dana (Patty), and Lance (Teresa) who will continue to honor his memory.

He leaves us with a hole and sadness in our hearts. We will miss him beyond measure and are so thankful to all who were involved in caring for him.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Lindquist North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery, 526 E. 2850 N. North Ogden.

Brad’s legacy lives on in the family he cherished, the roads he traveled, and the memories he created. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
