Brad Longfellow

CASTLE DALE, UTAH‒Brad A. Longfellow was born June 21, 1954, in Ogden, Utah to Lamar Adams Longfellow and Dolores Broadbent Longfellow.

He passed away on December 11, 2025, at his home in Castle Dale, Utah.

Brad attended Ogden City Schools and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming for a few years and married Mindy. He had two sons, Christopher and Ion Longfellow. They later divorced.

Brad worked for a variety of construction companies and enlisted in the United States Army Reserve. He later moved to Fielding, Utah and then to Castle Dale, Utah with his son, Ion.

Survived by his son, Ion; mother, Dolores; brother, Vince (Joni) Longfellow; and four nephews and nieces, Justin, Valerie, Jamie, and Jessica. Brad was preceded in death by his son, Christopher; and his father, Lamar.

Graveside Service will be on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, 1 p.m., at the Castle Dale City Cemetery, 600 North Center Street, Castle Dale, Utah, where military honors will be accorded by the American Legion Post #39. Friends are welcome to join the family at the cemetery.
