Bonnie J. Morgan

January 3 1936 ~ December 11 2017

Bonnie J Morgan, born Bonnie J Essig, passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early morning hours on the 11th of December 2017, after a long battle with dementia and other related health issues.

Bonnie was born to Gerhard and Sarah Essig in Lehr, North Dakota. They later moved to Washington. While there she met and married the love of her life, Robert on July 2, 1955. From there, they traveled the world with the U.S. Air Force, having four children along the way, finally settling in Roy, Utah.

Bonnie was a beautiful, amazing soul who loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who lit up her life. She loved cooking, and had a passion for doing counted cross-stitch, which she loved to make for her family and friends. She loved traveling, and always looked forward to Thursday lunch with friends at the local Village Inn. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends, but we feel comforted by the thought of her being reunited with her husband and that they will be watching over all of us.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her husband, Robert. She is survived by sisters, Janice (Paul) and Dialia, four children, Douglas, Robert Jr (Denise), Kathleen and Michael, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, the 19th of December 2017 at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 W 5600 S.

Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
