Bonnie Marie Haws Hall

February 5, 1929 — August 13, 2025

Bonnie Marie Haws Hall passed away peacefully at home on August 13, 2025, surrounded by love. Born on a snowy day in Hyrum, Utah—so snowy, she would say, you could walk along the fence tops. Bonnie was the fourth of eight children born to Garland Hugo and Verba Malinda Petersen Haws.

She attended school in Hyrum, graduating from South Cache High School. It was at the Hyrum Dance Hall where Bonnie and her dear friend Alda Lee Johnson met cousins Earl J. and Denton Hall. Bonnie and Earl were sealed in the Logan Temple on January 7, 1948, beginning a lifelong partnership filled with love, faith, and family. Alda Lee and Denton also married, and the two couples remained close friends throughout their lives.

Bonnie was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was baptized in the Logan Temple and remained faithful throughout her life, later serving in the temple she cherished so deeply.

Family was everything to Bonnie. Her siblings were her closest companions, gathering every Saturday at their grandparents’ farm where the children played and the adults shared stories and laughter. She carried that love of family into her own home, raising six children with warmth, creativity, and unwavering devotion.

Bonnie was a gifted and curious soul, always exploring new crafts, and sharing her talents. She was an exceptional seamstress; her children fondly remember waiting for the final button or hem so they could wear their matching dresses to church on holidays. She crocheted, painted in oils, mastered needlework and ceramics, and played piano by ear. Her beautiful singing voice filled the car on family drives, harmonizing with Earl as the children joined in.

Bonnie is survived by her six children, daughters, Kristine (Tom-deceased) Willis, Sherrie (Wayne) Green, Cindy (Dennis-deceased) Miller, Lisea (Tracy) Allen, and sons, Rodney Hall and Chad (Jenifer) Hall. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Brad and Blake Palmer; Karen, Michael, Jacob, and Wendee Green; Joshua and Derek Miller; Camille, Jennifer, Eric, Daniel, Andrew, and Emily Allen; Jared, Anthony, and Kayleigh Hall—along with 37 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Earl; grandchildren, Becky and Craig Palmer, and Nathan Miller; great-grandchildren, Whitney and Cody Keeney, Scott Marshall, and James Yost; her parents; and siblings ,Boyd and Dale Haws, LuDean Carroll, Varnell Haws, Helen Stuart, Ralph Haws, and Diane Ewing. She was the last of her generation on both sides of her family.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the North Ogden 20th Ward Chapel, 575 East 3100 North. Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary.
