Blaine Irvin Smart

Blaine Irvin Smart 1943 – 2024

Passed away peacefully at his home in Ivins, Utah. He was born to Irvin Henry Smart and Margie Maxine Groves on March 21, 1943. Later his father Irvin married C Elaine Jackson. He was the oldest of 7 children. 

Blaine was married to Julie Winters, and they had 5 children, Anndra Lee Modrcin (John), Shawn Blaine Smart (Tiffinee), Michelle Gay (Curt), Zane Tyler Smart (Heather), Amy Dawn Wilson (Dartaninan) He later married the love of his life, Sally Smart on February 2,1995.

They were sealed for time and all eternity December 21, 1999. From their union he was blessed with 3 bonus daughters, Toni Burningham (Bruce), Tracy Pease (Steve), and Tami Dyer (Mike). 

Being a father and grandpa was his joy. He loved the gospel of Jesus Christ. He found joy camping, fishing and the great outdoors.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Gordon, Stan, and Gary.

 Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 10:00 – 11:30am, at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N 400 E, Bountiful Utah, with graveside service 12:00 noon at Lakeview Memorial Cemetery.
