Ogden - Blaine Russell Breese, 75, of Ogden, Utah, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2025 suddenly at McKay Dee Hospital due to heart issues. He was born at the Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah to Raymond and Marie (Illum) Breese.
Blaine was one of six children born to Russell and Marie. His siblings are Dean (decreased), Bryon (decreased), Brian (Diane) - Farmington UT, Barbara (decreased), Nancy (Quincy) - Layton UT.
Blaine attended and graduated from the famous Ogden High. After high school he joined the Army Reserve. He worked most of his life at Hill Air Force Base as a machinist in the Landing Gear area. He was also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Blaine was married several times in his life but his only offspring and the best thing that ever happened to him was the birth of his son, Justin Breese. This miraculous event happened during the time he was married to Justin’s mother, Janice (Hare) Hansen. Blaine gained an extra gift, a stepdaughter, Jennifer (Hoffman) Marrott. Both children gave Blaine great joy. Justin was born already having an older sister to depend on, and at the same time, a sister he would always need to protect.
Blaine had a knack for make people laugh so hard that he would bring them to tears, telling his many many stories and jokes. For example, the many reasons he prefers companions over wives: (Reason #1) No Responsibility, (Reason #2) When he gets mad, he can go home, (Reason #3) She is only around when he wants her to be, (Reason #4) Excellent sex and finally (Reason #5) She pays her own way. One of his many jokes.
After having a conversation with Blaine, a person would be full of positive emotions leaving one with overwhelming joy and gladness. He was always willing to help his neighbor and friends. However, he did have a side that was stubborn. Sometimes he was determined not to change his attitude or position in spite of a good reason to do so. Consider yourself lucky if either of these conditions describe your personal relationship with Blaine.
His whole life Blaine loved hunting, fishing, camping, and tons of outdoor activities. He truly enjoyed all types of sports and the “company” of his family and friends.
Due to Blaine’s wishes, there will only be a viewing to say your goodbyes. It will be held Sunday Aug 3, 2025 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah.
