Billy Orval Baggs

Billy Orval Baggs, 85, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2012. He was born on November 11, 1926 to William James and Blanche Marie Dudman Baggs in Ogden. After graduating from high school, Billy joined the Army Air Force.

He married Edith Loretta Martin. She passed away in 1970. He married Martha Ione Mitchell in 1978 in Elko, Nevada. He worked as an inventory specialist at H.A.F.B. and later became a stockbroker. Billy loved the stock market. He enjoyed gambling in Wendover, drinking his coffee and watching TV.

Billy is survived by his wife, Martha Ione; sons, William Larry (Martha) Baggs, El Paso Texas; Benny Lee (Janet) Baggs and Gary M. Baggs, Ogden; Earl (Randee) Bryner, La Vegas, Nevada; and David (Shelly) Bryner, Spokane, Washington; daughters, Linda Marie Baggs, Vernal, Utah; and Beck Ann Jones, Corinne, Utah; 18 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Edith; parents; and brothers, Glen and Marlin.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Lindquist Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit family on Saturday from 11:45 to 12:45 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
