Elizabeth "Betty" Hobbs

Our loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Hobbs, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 26th, 2012 at age 79.

Betty was born on Oct. 13th, 1932 in Los Angeles, CA to Lorimer and Sarah Orr. She was married to Austin Hobbs. He died in 1999.

She had a great love for her family and especially for children. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a very spiritual influence to all and had a great knowledge of our heavenly father''s plan for us. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her, especially her family.

Betty is survived by four children; Randy (Lori) Hobbs of Palmer, Alaska, Russell (Debra) Hobbs of Woods Cross, Utah, Linda (Ron) Houskeeper of Kaysville, Utah, and Lisa Hobbs of Palmer, Alaska; brother, Jay Orr, 22 grandchildren, and 36 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lorimer and Sarah Orr, her husband, Austin Hobbs, her brothers, Delos Orr, Wayne Orr, and Thomas Orr, and her great-grandson, Seth Howes.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 3rd, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 No. Main. Friends may visit family Saturday from 9:30 to 10 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Willard City Cemetery.
