BETTY JANE HIRSCHI HARRIS

PLEASANT VIEW- Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 7, 2012.

Betty was born on December 15, 1940 to Albert David and Josie Carter Hirschi. She was raised in Rosette (Park Valley) Utah. She graduated from Box Elder High School and attended Stevens Henager.

She married Earl James Harris on October 9, 1963 in the Logan LDS Temple. They made their home in Pleasant View for the past 48 years.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in the Scouting Program for many years. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother, and we will miss her dearly.

She is survived by her husband Earl, her children David (Marta) Harris, Weston Harris, Daloy (Andrea) Harris, Laren (Paula) Harris, Janeea (John) Lowder, Kael (Lindsay) Harris, Joleda Ortiz, 28 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. Also surviving sisters, Fern (Byron) Hunsaker and LaNoma Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Curtis and Dee C. Hirschi; two sisters, Ledah Hirschi and Helen Pugsley; two sons, Norlin and Daylan; two grandchildren, Kyler Harris and Carson Lowder.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd., Family will meet with friends on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery.
