Benjamin H. Plowgian

Benjamin H. Plowgian, son of Nerses Plowgian and Johanna Martha Reszeleit, passed away peacefully September 6, 2011 of complications incident to age. He was born in Sugarhouse, Utah on June 11th, 1918. While he was serving in the Navy during World War II. He was stationed in Boston, Massachusetts, where he met his wife Helen Grix. They were sealed in the Logan LDS temple. During his military service and subsequent study to obtain his Masters degree, Ben studied at Notre Dame, Harvard and MIT. Ben and Helen enjoyed 66 years of marriage and were the parents of two children: Alan G. (Beverly) Plowgian and Martha Jo (Dwight) Krebs. Ben is survived by his children, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit family from 11 to 12:30 p.m. at the mortuary. He will be dearly missed by his family and all those who knew and loved him.
