November 6, 1938 ~ January 16, 2018

Uncle Benny was loved by everyone he met. He always welcomed you with a beautiful smile. He had a great sense of humor and loved to watch the birds. He was loved by all of his sisters and his brother. His nieces and nephews adored his child inside. His long life was spent enjoying what it had to offer.

He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Leach; stepfather, Ray Varney; mother, Harriett Varney; one brother, William Leach; four sisters, Arviella, Margrette, Bonnie, and Carol.

He is survived by one sister, Sandy (Byron) Madsen and all his nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.  Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
