Barbara loved the beauty of the outdoors--she loved animals in particular dogs and birds. She was a gifted cook; she made the best pies! . For many years she loved to paint--she had an eye for decorating and always had a home warm and inviting.

Barbara worked for the Social Security Administration for 30 years....her job brought a lot of recognition and satisfaction. She made many friends over the years!

Barbara loved her family--her greatest adventures were with JR and her kids. She loved to go on long-drives and explore the countryside! In her later life she had the opportunity to travel to many foreign countries and her favorite adventure was traveling to Florence Italy!

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents--her husband JR died December 17, 2010. Her brother’s Jack and Vernon Kelin.  And her sister Marie Kelin.

She has two great grandchildren she was never able to meet due to Covid and Alzheimer’s- she loved them dearly! Griffin Bloemke (2 years old) and Halen Bloemke (3 months).

As a family we would like to thank “Legacy House”--Sugar House UT and Bristol Hospice. The many friends at Legacy made Mom feel loved and needed! Thank-you so much!!
