Barbara Roberts Frost, 80, of Farr West, Utah, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2026.
Barbara was born November 7, 1945, to Charles Roberts and Aliene “Ann” Bright in Bradfordsville, Kentucky. She was the third of ten children. She moved to Utah at 7 years old but never lost her Kentucky roots. She played a key role in helping raise her younger siblings. Barbara attended Ogden City Schools and graduated from Ogden High in 1964. After graduation she attended Ogden Beauty College.
Barbara met her eternal companion, Brent Frost, while attending Ogden High. They were married and sealed in the Logan Utah Temple on July 31, 1964. They enjoyed over 61 years of marriage. They spent their honeymoon in Island Park and Yellowstone and that has become an annual family tradition for over 60 years. They spent the first four years of their marriage enjoying each other's company and traveling before their first child was born.
Barbara was the loving mother of four children, Tami (Ty) Youngman, Shari (Jeffrey) Larkin, Michael (Jayna) Frost, and Casey (Sheryl) Frost. She has since been blessed with 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids. She loved camping, boating, and traveling. She spent much of her free time cooking, baking, and sewing. She was an excellent seamstress, making all of her formal dresses in high school, Halloween costumes, and her children's clothing. She was also an amazing cook and showed her love by feeding people. She was famous for her carrot cake recipe. Barbara loved hosting and invited extended family and close friends into her home each year for Christmas Eve. Barbara especially loved having her family over for Sunday night dinner.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many callings throughout her life. Her favorite calling was serving in the nursery.
Over the years Barbara had several jobs: Taylor’s Pet Shop, a baker for Weber County Schools, and retired from the IRS after 21 years.
Barbara is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and siblings, Sue Garner, Charles Roberts, Ron Roberts, Glen Roberts, and Toby Roberts. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Juanita “Pee Wee” Orton, Wayne Roberts, Jim Roberts, and Kathy Thompson.
The family would like to thank the staff at Seasons Assisted Living and Inspiration Hospice for their loving care for Barbara in her final months.
