Audrey Lewis Raymond Burt

Audrey Lewis Raymond Burt, 74, of Layton Utah, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022 surrounded by her family. We know her heart is full being reunited with so many loved ones, especially her true love Rick and her favorite puppy Rambo.

Audrey was born to Otho “Oats” and Katherine Bischoff Raymond in Pocatello, Idaho on June 26, 1947. Audrey lived her childhood years in Pocatello where she attended school.

On June 4, 1965, Audrey married her high school sweetheart, Richard “Rick” Burt, and they made their home in Clearfield, Utah. To this union two boys were born, Broc and Robert.

At the young age of 19, she began working and held a number of jobs throughout the years, including working at Weber State University, running an in-home daycare, JBs restaurant, and ended her career in the social services department for the State of Utah.

Rick and Audrey moved to their vacation cabin in Island Park, where they resided after their retirement in 1997. She enjoyed helping out at the library, being social, and causing mischief with all of her friends. Audrey loved her grandkids and the summers they spent at the cabin. Slot machines and a long hot bath where her favorite pastimes. She loved her puppies deeply, and you could often catch her singing an oldie moldy song!

She is survived by sons, Broc (Nikki) and Robert (Laura); and grandchildren Brittney (Matt), Dustyn, Sierra, Stetson, Kirstie, and her great grandson Beckett.

The family would like to thank Fairfield Village for all of the love and support they have shown Audrey over the years. We would also like to thank hospice, all of the nursing staff, Dr. Ryan Stewart, as well as our dear friends and family.

Audrey didn’t want to have a service so whenever you are causing mischief, longing for a hot bath, enjoying the view of pink clouds, or cuddling a puppy just think of Audrey and smile.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to support your local animal shelter in Audrey’s name.

Care entrusted to Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah.
