Ashley Noel Golden, age 20, of Fruit Heights, Utah passed away peacefully on May 31, 2025 at 4:22 pm following a tragic scooter accident that caused too much trauma in her brain. Ashley leaves behind a legacy of kindness, creativity, fierce love and deep compassion.
She is survived by her parents Brian & Crystal Golden (Christensen); sisters Courtney Golden (Andy Hedin), & Olivia Coleman (Golden) & Hunter Coleman; brothers Nick Golden, Evan Golden (Calvin Watford); boyfriend Conner Leishman; nieces Avery, Amelia, & Georgia; grandparents Linda Gross (Nami), Dwain & Linda Christensen of Grace Idaho.
Ashley was born on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2004 in Salt Lake City - a fitting day for one who gave so much. She proved her spunk and resiliency right from the beginning, as she won the fight against the RSV virus when she was just three weeks old. Her determination continued to be evident in everything she put her mind to.
Quiet and creative, with a dash of dry humor, Ashley was deeply genuine and sincere. She wasn’t one for drama and could seem a little reserved at first, but once you gained her love and trust you were in for good. She loved big and with all her heart and was fiercely loyal.
Ashley loved competitive cheer, dance and music. She would sing at the top of her lungs when she heard a song she liked and would play and giggle and be goofy with her friends. She had a very creative and artistic mind and loved to paint, do crafts, and make beautiful pictures. Ashley loved her car. She took meticulous care of that car and it became a reflection of her personality with the array of things she kept hanging on the rearview mirror.
Ashley loved to shop and was very much into fashion and very particular with her clothes. From toddlerhood to adulthood, she was determined to wear exactly what she wanted. She would change clothes six times a day to decide what she wanted to wear. She took great care - and a lot of time - to determine just the right outfit for the occasion, and she didn’t mind making others wait until she had it exactly right. She loved makeup and lip glosses and took immaculate care of her beautiful long hair.
Ashley’s thoughtful and giving nature was her “love language.” She had a deep love for children and dreamed of becoming an elementary school teacher. While working at a daycare, she took note of what kids needed - emotionally and physically - and met those needs without hesitation. Diapers in her trunk, love in her heart, and always a watchful eye for the kids who needed just a little extra. She made sure each child felt loved and cared for.
After graduating from High School Ashley attended Utah State University to advance her dream of becoming an elementary school teacher. Though her work was cut short, the goals she had in mind will be perpetuated through a memorial fund created in her name that will support underprivileged children - something Ashley cared deeply about.
