Annabell Samora Martinez

Annabell (Samora) Martinez, age 59, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 28, 2007, at her home in Heath, Texas. She was born on June 24, 1947 in Ogden, Utah to Ralph and Lena Samora.

She married Manuel Martinez on December 11, 1965 and had three beautiful daughters, Sandy, Michelle, and Shelly ("Hawkie"). According to her faith, Annabell''s union with Manuel dissolved on her passing.

Annabell was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a wonderful cook and devoted her life to the well being of her children and grandchildren.

Annabell is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law, Sandy (Jim) Alderfer, Michelle (Marshall) Boulware, and Shelly (Chris) Scanlan; her brother, Henry Samora; her sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Lavato, Deloris Samora, and Mrs. Patricia Rascone; her grandchildren, Alexis Narvaez, Nicolette Boulware, Marshall Boulware, Jr., Kirsti Boulware, Payton Alderfer, and Jordan Alderfer; her sister-in-law and best friend, Mable Samora; her niece and honorary daughter, Paula Abeyta; and her honorary granddaughter, Lori Graham. Annabell is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by her brothers, Joe Samora, Abel Samora, Johnny Samora, Leo Samora, and Ralph Samora.

Mom, may the angels lead you into paradise, where you can continue to watch over your loving family and where you can find comfort and joy in the company of those who have gone before you. May you rest in the peace of Christ''s love.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, June 2, 2007 at 9 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 210 So. Chapel Street, Layton, Utah.

Friends and family may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main.
