Anna Marcene Larsen, Bodily, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026. Born on January 30, 1932, to Dean and Etta Nelson Bodily in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Marcene lived a life marked by devotion, family, and unwavering faith. A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, her spirituality was a cornerstone of her character and an inspiration to all who knew her.
Her fondest memories were filled with moments shared over crossword puzzles and reading books. She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. These simple, yet profound experiences reflected her deep love for family and her dedication to nurturing connections across generations. Her presence will be deeply missed by those closest to her.
Marcene is survived by a loving family that includes her daughters Cheryl (Adrian) Mabgin, Tami Larsen, Kathleen (Lonnie) Medina, and Tina (Armando) Castaneda; sons Gaylen (Ramona), Barry (Michelle), and Kendall (Michelle) Larsen; brother Larry Bodily; and sisters Shauna Cummings and Shirlene Bird. Their love and support continue in her memory, carrying forward the legacy she so lovingly established.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Dean and Etta Nelson Bodily; her brother Verdean Bodily; sisters Colleen Hinkley and Opal Craig; as well as cherished grandchildren Tyler Larsen and Tara Larsen, and great-grandson Quinn Sefita. Though deeply mourned, their memories remain treasured by her surviving family.
Throughout her ninety-four years, Marcene’s steadfast faith and commitment to her family created a lasting impact. She leaves behind a legacy of love, patience, and devotion that will forever be remembered and honored by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
In this time of loss, her family finds comfort in the many cherished moments shared and the enduring strength of her example. Anna Marcene Larsen’s life was one of service, faith, and love a true blessing to those around her.
Funeral services will be held on Friday May 1, 2026 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 Fairfield Rd, Layton, Utah. Friends may meet with family on Friday from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
Interment will take place at Lindquist's Memorial Park at Layton.
