Ann Murray Ferree

Ann Murray Ferree was born October 26, 1928 in Larbert, Scotland to Thomas and Janet Copland. Her family moved to Glasgow, Scotland in 1934 where she lived until emigrating in 1953 to Quebec City, Canada.

Ann served in the British Royal Air Force from 1946 a€" 1948.

On March 18, 1961, Ann married Rolla Ferree in Lawrence, Kansas. With her family she moved to Texas, then southern and northern California.

In August of 1989 she and her husband settled in Roy, Utah.

Since coming to Utah she worked at Shopko for 10 years. She liked to call those years, "a good time!"

Ann loved her volunteer work at Ogden Regional Medical Center where she was also a member of Senior Friends at the hospital.

She counted as her greatest pleasures and treasures her family, a love of travel, time spent with old friends, making new friends, and her beloved ''Brit Club''.

Ann was a member of the 1st Presbyterian Church in Ogden where she served with dedication and happiness as an Elder. Participation in church activities was the greater part of her life.

She offers thanks to all her, "great neighbors in Roy for their help and kindness thru the years."

Ann is survived by three children, son Warren (Maureen) Ferree, Farr West; daughter Lola Winfrey, Pocatello, ID; and son Ken (Colleen) Ferree, Pocatello, ID; She loved eleven grandchildren and eight grandchildren. In England she has four nephews and one great-nephew.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her one and only sister, Francis in 1992, and husband in 1994.
