Anita Louise Asay

Anita Louise Asay, age 83, died August 22, 2018.  She was born August 6, 1935 the daughter of Edward and Connie Taylor in Byars, Oklahoma.  Anita was one of nine children and was raised in Oklahoma and California.

On October 15, 1956 she married Dean S. Asay.  They went on to have five children.  With Dean’s career in the USAF they lived in California, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah and Okinawa.  Dean preceded her in death in 1997. They were married 40 years and 4 months.

Anita is survived by four children, Helen (Ken) Donaghy, Janice Marchese, Michael Asay, Russell Asay, 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three sisters, Mary, Barbara and Gerri.

Preceded in death by her husband Dean, son Steven, parents, three brothers and three sisters.

Graveside services will be held Friday August 30, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd. Friends may visit with family from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd.

Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
