With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our cherished mother Anastacia Torres. She was 98 years of age, and passed away at her home on June 4, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
Anastacia was born February 6, 1927, Palma Prieta Guanajuato, Mexico, to the late Rosita and Geronimo Torres Godinez. She was the third of five siblings, and all preceded her in death.
Anastacia married the late Eusebio Torres in 1942, together they brought eleven children into the world. She was a devoted catholic from an early age. Anastacia loved to recite her prayers daily, praying for and with others. She loved spending time with family, laughing and always wearing a smile on her face. She was a loving and caring person, devoted wife, mother, and friend, always thinking of others first.
Anastacia leaves us to reunite with her husband of 60 years, Eusebio Torres, and her two sons that preceded her in death, Marcello Torres and George Luis Torres. She leaves nine living children, twenty-three grandchildren, and many great grandchildren to cherish her loving memory. Her nine living children are Rosa Linda Garcia, Eusebio Pete Torres, Antonio Torres, Ernesto Torres, Maria Elena Torres, Jose Torres, Maria M. Torres-Jacobs, Phillip J. Torres and Javier Torres.
