Amy left this life on March 30, 2012 at 11:50 pm suddenly, unexpectedly, but very peacefully at St. Alphonsus Hospital in Boise, Idaho. Amy is flying with her Dad Key and many other family and friends in heaven. Amy suffered a massive heart failure while doing what she loved, flying around the country serving passengers for Delta Airlines. She was a flight attendant for 25 years.

Amy''s loves include her four wonderful kids Brittanie Hofheins, 20; Jonathan Downing, 17; Alex Hofheins, 16; and Haleigh Downing, 15; her soul mate and loving husband Richard Lynn Hofheins. Her family included a wonderful mother Marva Catten, a devoted and caring step-dad Dennis Catten, her loving sister Lesia Kohler, her amazing brother Steve Pittman and a large group of extended family and friends that she adored.

"My sweet beautiful Amy, I love you more than the stars in the sky, and more than the sand on the beach. My darling I know you will be by my side in spirit forever."

Funeral services will be held 11 am Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Lindquist''s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. where a viewing will be held Wed. April 4th from 6-8 pm and 9:30 a€" 10:30 am Thurs. prior to the services. Interment will be at Lakeview Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
