Amos Teodora Romero

August 25, 1937 — November 19, 2023

Amos Teodora Romero of Layton Utah passed away on Sunday November 19, 2023 at his home. He was born on August 25, 1937 in Taos, New Mexico to Tito and Celestina Romero. He was raised in Layton, Utah where he met and married Karen Stafford on February 11, 1966, they were later divorced.

 

Amos is survived by four children, Nicholas Patrick Romero (Liza Worsley), Lisa Michelle Brewster (Ty Brewster), Jason Romero (Niki Connell) and Timothy Romero (Naomi Leslie); brother, Richard (Barbara) Romero; and sister, Betty Otero

 

He was a member of the St Rose of Lima Catholic Church. He served in the U. S. Navy on the USS Oriskany in Japan, the Philippine Islands, China, Korea and Hawaii for four years thereafter  he received an honorable discharge.

 

He worked at Hill Air Force Base as an aircraft refueler until he retired. After retirement he went back to work as a bus driver for UTA, then retired a second time.

 

There will be no service at this time, Amos will be buried alongside his parents Tito and Celestina Romero at a later date at the Lindquist ‘s Memorial Park at Layton UT.
