Allen served in the Army during World War II. He drove his Duece and a half across Europe to Germany.

Allen was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He had great faith and served in many callings.

Every morning Dad looked forward to going to Wangsgards for his requested burnt pancakes with his homemade jam. Thanks Marge and the girls for taking such wonderful care of our dad every day. We know what a flirt he was.

His greatest passion was farming. Dad loved his tractors. Our dad was very generous, loving and knowledgeable. We will miss you Dad!
