Alice K. Hulme
OGDEN – Alice Krueger Hulme, 85, died Sunday, May 6, 2007 at McKay-Dee Hospital of a massive heart attack.
She was born May 14, 1921 in Berlin, Germany.
Alice married Gerald A. Hulme on November 3, 1962 in Elko, Nevada.
She was a member of the Elim Lutheran Church and was secretary of Ruth Circle.
Alice worked hard to obtain her U.S. Citizenship. She was thankful to be an American and never took her freedoms here for granted. She became an election judge and also spent many volunteer hours in organizations such as the Red Cross.
Alice loved to camp, fish and hunt with her husband, friends and relatives. She was especially fond of the 23 pound lake trout she caught at Flaming Gorge.
Surviving are her husband of Ogden; her children, Pam (Rick) Wood, Littleton, CO; Gerald Lynn (DeAnna) Hulme, Avon, UT; Gwen (Vaughn) Summers and Susan (Michael) Norman, both of Paradise, UT; 14 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Elim Lutheran Church, 575 – 23rd Street.
Friends may call at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday at the Church one hour prior to services.
Interment, Paris, Idaho City Cemetery.
