Alexandra Maria (Schuch) Baker passed away 9 January 2022 at Davis Hospital in Layton, Utah. Cause of death was Covid 19 related.

Alexandra was born 20 May 1957 in Frankfurt Germany. Her parents are Father, Wolfgang Schuch and Mother Erika (Neuroth) Neumann.  Her husband, Nathan Mathew Baker. Alexandra was a wonderful wife, mother, and homemaker.

Alexandra was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and enjoyed many different callings throughout the years.

Alexandra traveled to many different places during her husband’s time in in the United States Army. Always a trooper, she never complained about where her next duty station would be.  Wherever she ended up, she always made home for her family.  Alexandra loved the outdoors, camping and hiking were things she loved to do. As a young woman, she loved horseback riding. Later in life she learned to sew and quilt and spent many hours creating magic out of fabric. Many quilts adorn her home, a legacy of a very talented woman. She also decided to learn to crochet. She loved to make things for her family, especially her grandchildren. One of the last things she did was create slippers for all of them for Christmas.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Nathan Mathew Baker of Syracuse, UT; Her son’s, Steven Wolfgang Baker of French Settlement LA, Joshua Caleb Baker of Syracuse, UT, Jonathan Michael Baker of Syracuse, UT; Her grandchildren, Talon, Kaydence, Maddie, Kylie, Nathan, Lincoln, Haydynn and Tyson; Her mother, Erika Neumann of Frankfurt, Germany; Her sister’s Anne Schuch of Esgrus, Germany, Barbel Kunna of Frankfurt, Germany, Dorothea Bachmann of Karben, Germany, Simone Mueller of Bad Vibel, Germany, Meike Nichterlein of Bad Vilbel, Germany, and brother Sven Neumann of Frankfurt, Germany.  Also, Daughter In-laws, Amber of French Settlement, LA and Desiree of Clearfield, UT.

Alexandra was preceded in death by her father Wolfgang Schuch, her daughter Cassandra Elisabeth Baker and her son Tyson Jared Baker.

Graveside services will be held Friday, January 14, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Hooper City Cemetery.  Friends may visit family, Thursday from 6 to 8 at Lindquist’s Syracuse Mortuary, 869 S. 2000 W. Syracuse, Utah.

Interment: Hooper Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
