Alejandro Silva Garcia

Alejandro Garcia passed away Friday November 15, 2024 at age 73 in South Ogden, Utah. He was born in Brownsville, Texas on January 3, 1951 to Gilberto Garcia and Juanita Silva Garcia.

 He married Rosa Linda Garcia on April 30, 1969 in Farmington, Utah. They were married for 29 years before divorcing.

 He was a member to the Catholic Church.

 Alejandro loved to fish, have BBQ’s , gardening, and he always had some stories to share.

 He is survived by his sister, Corine Garcia, two daughters; Anna Zimmer (Nester Hurtado), Linda Tistempa (Eugdio Tiatempa-Lepivz), son, Alex Ray Garcia (Angel Garcia), six grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilberto, Jr. and Juanita Silva, three brother; Jose Angel Garcia, George Garcia, Ernesto Garcia and one sister Marie A. Samples.

 Thank you to the medical workers at Mount Ogden Health and Rehab for the care and services they provided to Alejandro.

 A Celebration of Life will be held Monday November 18, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah. Family and friends may visit from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. at the mortuary prior to the service.
