Alan Dale Parker, 69, passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, December 26, 2023. He was born on March 29, 1954, the son of Alton Deloy and Diane Norman Parker. He was born in Wellsville, Utah, and when he was three the family moved to Roy, Utah. He graduated from Roy High School and attended college.
He married Maleia Madsen on February 17, 1990 in Roy, Utah.
Alan was an airbrush artist and custom painted vans until he developed health issues and it was impossible for him to continue. He then started his own roofing business until his health required him to stop. Alan was a wonderful photographer and always had his camera in hand. He left a treasure of photos for his family. He also enjoyed hiking, backpacking, snow-skiing, and mountain biking.
Alan is survived by his wife, Maleia Parker, children, Brandon Parker, Melanie Oliver and Lydia Lee Parker; five grandchildren, Ashley Oliver, Kaylei Oliver, Chase Oliver, Ellie Oliver, and Alylah Mae Parker-Bullard; and siblings, David Parker, Nolan Parker, Kenneth Parker, and Marsha Ard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Deloy and Diane Parker.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Garden City Cemetery.
