Agnes Moosman

Agnes Kirk Moosman passed away on August 18, 2015.  She was born November 23, 1930 in Rome, NY to Howard John and Kathleen Blanchard Kirk. After schooling, Agnes met and married an Airman from Griffis Air Force base, Welborn R. Moosman, from Idaho.  They moved to Idaho and later to Utah.  They had and raised nine children:  Christine, Paul, David, Linda, Mary, JoAnn, Howard, and twins Wayne and Wendy.

She is survived by her husband and eight children: Paul (Jackie), Brookneal, VA; Howard (LaRae), Layton, UT; Wayne, Pittsburg, KS; Christine (Paul) Mulvaney, Eager, AZ; Linda Frans, Mesa, AZ; Mary (Russel) Wright, Logansport, IN; JoAnn (Randy) Carlson, Bountiful, UT; and Wendy Washechek, CO.  She is also survived by one sister, Lorraine, Lee Center, NY and three brothers, Thomas (Cathie), Rome, NY, Andrew (Phyllis), Moira, NY, Robert, Lee Center, NY, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her son, David Moosman, both parents, sister Joan Kirk, brothers James Kirk and Howard Kirk Jr, grandson Jason Carlson, and great-granddaughters Hannah and Halee Milewski.

Friends may visit with family on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield. Dedication of the grave will be at 11 a.m.

Interment, Lindquist’s  Memorial Park at Layton.
