Adelheid "Heidi" Porter-Schweizer

Heidi Porter passed away at home on January 10, 2023 after a short illness. She was 79 years young. She was born in Zurich, Switzerland. Her parents Paul and Frida Schweizer and her younger brother, Paul Werner preceded her in death.

She married Earl Porter in Athens, Greece on September 17, 1964. Later they returned to Earl’s home town of Ogden, Utah. Together they had two children, Raif and Susanne, three grandchildren, Jacquelyn, Joshua, Riker, and one great-grandchild, Phillip.

Heidi loved to sew and was a very talented seamstress.  She had a passion for gardening and took great care in growing beautiful plants and flowers, her favorite being her many orchids.

She enjoyed the outdoors. She spent her life skiing, hiking and sailing with her family. She was an avid reader of non-fiction topics of many different subjects.

Following her wish of cremation, inurnment at Ogden City Cemetery in the Porter Family plot following in the Spring.
