Aaron Carter Palmer, 54, our beloved son, brother, uncle, fiancé, and friend left us suddenly on Easter morning April 20, 2025. He was born December 31,1970, in San Angelo, Texas the son of Darrel Ray and Donna Ethel Hadley Palmer.
Aaron grew up in the Ogden area and went to Weber High School where he was also a State FBLA Vice President representing Weber High. He graduated in 1989 and served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Argentina. After returning from his mission, he went to Weber State University and completed a study abroad in Mexico.
Aaron spent his life caring for others working in the medical field at Human Services Center and Avera Sister James Care Center in Yankton, South Dakota. Aaron was briefly married to Trisha Lynn Palmer who passed away in 2010. They had no children together. While living in Yankton he met the love of his life, Danielle Griser and her daughter Lily in October 2022.
Aaron was an amazing person with a love of life and a wonderful sense of humor. He had many hobbies including collecting pebble stones, candle making, and baking. His love for Danielle and Lily and their time together brought joy and happiness into his life. They supported each other in every aspect of their lives. Aaron had severe medical issues that impacted the last year of his life including major spinal surgery limiting his mobility, but he never allowed his physical pain to take away from others joy and he never lost his sense of humor.
Aaron is survived by his father, Darrel Ray Palmer; sister, Darla (Clay) Schmalz; brother, Kurt (Yori) Palmer, Troy (Kellie) Palmer, and Bob (Sheri) Olsen; sister, Virginia (Rick) Simnitt; and many other family and friends that love him dearly.
