Morgan Grant Schow
Our sweet and wonderful husband, dad and papa departed this life on Saturday, June 10, 2017 from complications from Pneumonia. Grant was born September 29, 1932 to Andrew Elwin Schow and Nellie Mae Grant Schow in Lovell, Wyoming. He moved to Layton, Utah when he was 9 years old. He attended school in Layton and graduated from Davis High School. He served a mission in the California Mission, after his mission he attended BYU and was drafted into the Army. He graduated from Weber State College. He retired from HAFB and the Utah State Tax Commission where he worked in Computer Security.
He met and later married his sweetheart Bonnie Densley on April 22, 1960 in the Salt Lake Temple. He was an active member of the LDS Church and had many callings that taught him a lot about the gospel. He loved church history and served at the Church History Museum. Grant and Bonnie served in the Bountiful Temple as Temple workers; they served a full time mission to the New York Rochester Mission where they served in the Church Historical sites. They loved serving there and those that served with them.
Grant is survived by his sweet wife Bonnie, his five children Cheryl Young, DeAnn (Jim) Schroader, Lauri (Stewart) Matthews, Steven (April) Schow and Kristi (Cory) Martinsen, 10 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, his brothers Niel (DeAnn) Schow and Andy (Joanne) Schow, Aunts Ruth Johnson and Betty Clark. He is preceded in death by his parents and many other loved ones.
The family would like to thank the Davis Hospital and ICU medical staff.
