Judie Bair Kendell
July 13, 1943 ~ May 10, 2018
Judie Bair Kendell, 74, of South Ogden, Utah passed away peacefully on the morning of May 10, 2018 at Rocky Mountain Care Center in Clearfield, Utah. She was born in Taft, California on July 13, 1943 to Leland Jones Bair and Madelyn Nelson Bair. She was raised in Ogden, UT, where she graduated from Ogden High School in 1961.
She married Colin E. Kendell on March 12, 1962. They were later divorced. Together they had three beautiful children, they were her greatest accomplishments, Debbie (Ted) Papageorge, Wendy (Brad) Arave, and Jeffrey (Jennifer) Kendell.
She was extremely proud of her seven grandchildren, Brody Kent (Rosalie) Arave, Lacey Ann Papageorge, Kylee Danielle Arave, Christopher Jeffrey Kendell, Alexis Christina Papageorge, Brayden Alan Kendell, and Landon Harry Papageorge.
Judie worked most of her career at St. Benedict’s Hospital in Ogden and Washington Terrace as a Pharmacy Technician. She also worked for Roosevelt Elementary School in Washington Terrace as a Title One Assistant and served as PTA President for many years. She made many friendships through the years which she cherished her entire life.
Surviving are her children, grandchildren, brother, Dr. Jan (Rae) Bair and their three children, Mark N. Bair MD, Warren (LeAnn) Bair, and Marie (Greg) Pavich; and many dear friends.
We would like to give special thanks to her Elevation Hospice Team who were by her side during her last few months, and gave unconditional love and care to our mother; especially Amy, Sonya, Morgan, Nina, Julianne, Miriam, and all of the nursing staff at Rocky Mountain Care.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd. Friends may visit with family on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
